Last Sunday, our Sixers and Seconders from both of our Cub packs took part in a day of fun team building activities as they learned about the values of teamwork and how together everyone achieves more – which if you take the first letter from each word actually spells the word team.
This also provided them with the chance for them to use their initiative to get things done, which they can use back in their Sixes on a normal pack night to take the lead.
They play a real important part in the running of the Cub packs, helping the adult leadership team manage their six when we’re doing games and activities. This added responsibility is a real privilege, as to become a Sixer or Seconder they will have consistently shown the adult leadership team that they are ready for the extra challenge, with the skills and necessary qualities needed to lead their friends.
