A Crafty Start to the New Year

In the Troop we always like to think about how we are part of a worldwide organisation. It’s cool to search the web to discover how other Scouts around the world are different to us. In the US, for example, woggles are called neckerchief slides and it’s quite a thing to have a unique design that makes you stand out from your fellow Scouts. With that in mind, we had a go at making bear woggles out of leather from a design we found on an American Scout website.

The site also suggested making woggles from air drying polymer clay. With those we had free reign on designs. They should be dry by next week ready for us to paint so watch this space for the opportunity to see the finished result.
