Really good week at Cub, really good fun. I think I had as much fun as the kids. We started the scientist badge. We had four bases, inflating balloons without blowing them up using lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda, water, a small bottle and a balloon, mixing oil and water to find out how they react, testing our dominant side by doing various activities both mental and physical and making volcanos by mixing bicarbonate of soda, vinegar, water and washing up liquid with a dash of food coluring.

I was on the volcano base and it was awesome, the cubs had such fun mixing the ingredients and watching the reaction, it was great and do you know what….. there’s nothing like getting your hands stuck into a big foamy mess, it was super.
