Explorer Photography Project – Forced Perspective

Chris the giant

Those of you who know us have a pretty good idea that we like to do quite techy stuff. In the last programme planning session photography came out as something that the unit wanted to do. Taking our inspiration from this website  we set off for Herrington Country Park armed with cameras and a bunch of kids toys. The results of can be found in the gallery here. Rate the pics on how realistic you think they are. The idea is to set your camera to a high f stop and use aa wide angle lens. Get really low to your subject and the effect is to distort the perspective to such an extent that a person can appear like a giant and a toy car can apparently look huge. Check out our pics to see what we mean.
